Raid: Shadow Legends follows standard turn-based RPG mechanics, and each champion of the player has its own specialization type and unique skills, including health, defense, attack, or buff support. In a turn-based game, when players want to attack an opponent, they can choose a skill and tap on the enemy they want to attack. If the player doesn't choose a skill, their hero will automatically attack with the standard skill he has. If the player uses the automatic mode, the game characters will automatically use their skills and attack different enemies. 

Raid Shadow Legends offers a choice of campaigns on four different difficulties, including Normal, Hard, Cruel and Nightmare. To unlock more difficult campaign options, players need to clear the normal difficulty campaign. Once the player has passed a game stage in the clearing campaign or dungeon, the player also unlocks the next stage. And it will be more challenging in the next game stages. As players unlock more levels and successfully pass the game, they will gain more experience and drop item rewards. In addition, players can also go to the next area by completing one game area, and each area will give the player more stars after completion. When the player's stars reach a certain number, the game will provide some good rewards, such as silver coins, gems, ancient fragments, etc. At the same time, players can use these collected fragments to summon new champions.
