Wanna have a blast with your family and friends playing card games? Phase 10: World Tour provides you with a perfect opportunity to gather together to enjoy the new gameplay of UNO cards as well as interact with each other using emojis. In the front lies a series of levels waiting for you to unlock and challenge. New arenas are available for you to choose from during each round.

It adopts a classic phase 10 gameplay on this well-designed mobile game interface. I find the task-oriented game progress mechanism very addictive and it motivates players to continue their journey. Plus, the setting varies from phase to phase, which means you can enjoy the tour from exotic tropical jungle to the Antarctic world. It’s a good combination of both challenges and relaxations.

Phase 10: World Tour is an online mobile game offered by Mattel163 Ltd., and it is free for downloading on App Store and Google Play with in-app purchase options. This game is created by the same group of developers for Uno! Its basic goal is to successfully complete each round of each gaming phase. Players can take on solo challenges or compete with others. Either way, their aim is to get ahead of others and collect the required sets of cards to claim victory. There are ten phases in the game as its title suggests, and the mobile version integrates other interesting features to enhance the gaming experience as well. Players can get refreshing game settings with themes throughout the globe. It combines world touring with challenging game contents, enabling players to immerse in a journey-like atmosphere. There are two gaming modes: offline journey mode and online competition mode. In the offline journey mode, players are competing against the computer system. In the online competition mode, players need to spend and bet in coins to rival against other online players. No what which mode you choose, the fundamental game rules and goals remain the same. Players can flexibly choose their playing mode on a whim and always experience the enjoyable world tour together with the brainy challenges.

How to play

The basic gameplay and goal of Phase 10: World Tour remain consistent regardless of the playing mode players choose. During each phase of the game, players are required to collect a set of cards and once they have all of them on hand, they can throw those cards towards the competitors (computer bots or real online players) and move on to the next phase. Whoever completes the 10 phases first wins the game. Meanwhile, the game settings change from time to time as if players are travelling from place to place around the world. After starting the game, players can decide whether they want to participate the game in offline mode—the journey, or online multiplayer mode. When entering the journey mode, players will see their gaming interface as a winding river with locked rocks. Their goal is to unlocks the tasks on each rock and move it towards the end of the river to complete the current phase. In order to reach each goal, players need to use something called “green lightning bolts” which are displayed and automatically recharging on the top area of the screen. While players moving along and unlocking the new tasks, they can also view their opponents’ game progress on their interface.  Players can also view the cards at hand and their on-going tasks; then they take turns to tap and pick up cards to complete the task. At the end, players need to eliminate the remaining cards still on hand because those cards are minus points for the next phase. If players choose to participate in online multiplayer games, the core principle and gameplay remain the same. The only difference is that players must spend coins to join online competitions and the coins are their bets, which they either win or lose in this gaming mode. Coins can be obtained via task completion rewards and ads-walls. Plus, as the difficulty level moves up, players can also resort to in-game boosters, which are displayed at each phase or can be further purchased through in-game spending.
